CLASS: SMALL DINOSAUR

SPECIES: GUANLONG

DIET: CARNIVORE
female guanlong
male guanlong

Guanlong. Compared to their close relatives the dilong and proceratosaurus, these small carnivores are relatively passive and will only attack if provoked. These animals also prefer to go after smaller prey like caudipteryx and compsognathus. The crest on the animals head is brightly colored and like the dilophosaurus is used for display. These dinosaurs are also very agile and can be very shy at times. All this makes the islands guanlong a very interesting dinosaur indeed.
