The dark forest. Unlike the southern forest, this forest is rather unusual as the trees here are more densely packed making the forest floor appear darker, giving this forest its name. Though because of the denser packed trees it is a more favored area for herbivores willing to get out of the sun,

Although what may seem like a peaceful place during the day. During the night the island's nocturnal dinosaurs emerge, animals like mononykus and caudipteryx usually hunt for insects here. However, it is the predators that are to be your worst nightmares. One carnivore would be Dilophosaurus Sinensis or Sinosaurus, the largest predatory animal you'll find, as well as that, the forest is home to Proceratosaurus, small tyrannosaurids who have venomous bites.
