CLASS: MEDIUM DINOSAUR

SPECIES: BEIPIAOSAURUS

DIET: OMNIVORE

both male and female of this species are the same in coloration.

The islands Beipiaosaurus can be found commonly in the southern forest but can sometimes be seen traveling across the southern meadows. Living a solitary lifestyle they can sometimes be hard to find as their coloration allows them to blend in with trees. The diet of these animals is mainly herbivorous although there have been reports of them scavenging large carcasses in the southern meadows. The long claws of this creature are used similar to prehistoric ground sloths, as they use them to pull down branches into their mouths as well as defend themselves. It has been documented that dakotaraptors have avoided hunting these creatures due to their intimidating nature. With that, the beipiaosaurus definitely is an interesting dinosaur indeed.
