CLASS: MEDIUM DINOSAUR

SPECIES: MONOLOPHOSAURUS

DIET: CARNIVORE

both male and female of this species are the same in coloration.

Monolophosaurus. One of the medium-sized predators it is one of the few carnivores that can be found all throughout the island, and even with that this animal prefers the island's forests. Having a dark green coloration as well as black striping this animal can hide very well within the forests, and with long legs it is adapted for sprinting down prey. The large crest on this species has many uses, the main use is for displaying to females as during the mating season the crests change color becoming bright orange. The other use for the crest is pushing foliage away from it’s face when running through forest similar to the modern cassowary. All this makes the monolophosaurus an interesting dinosaur indeed.
