Amargasaurus, one of the smallest sauropod species yet one of the most interesting. People have been wondering for ages about the purpose of the "neck spines" but now with having it on the island, we've actually been able to study it. From our documentation of this animal, it has been noted that they are used in a very similar way to how giraffes use their head ornamentation, especially during the mating season where males will literally go "head to head" although the spines also act as a display to females. Unlike the europasaurus, the body plan for this sauropod is more in line with the islands apatosaurus which is more horizontal than the vertical necked brachiosaurus. the huge clawed toes on the animal's feet are used for digging and come in handy when making nests, although the claws on the front feet can be used for defense in a similar way to how iguanodon use their "thumb spikes". All this makes the amargasaurus an interesting dinosaur indeed.
