CLASS: SMALL DINOSAUR

SPECIES: COELOPHYSIS

DIET: CARNIVORE

Coelophysis, is one of the smaller predators on the island yet one of the most aggressive. Being opportunistic scavengers they are similar to the ornitholestes, but unlike the ornitholestes, their aggression levels are higher making them a dangerous threat to be avoided. On the island of the Mesozoic, we have two variants of the coelophysis, a feathered variant, and a scaly variant. The feathered having been added to the island more recently and was supposed to outcompete our scaly coelophysis. Although something unexpected has happened, as the species have spread out, with the feathered type living on the north side and the scaly type living on the island's southern side. Both versions avoid competition from one another. And thus making the coelophysis an interesting dinosaur indeed.
